Romsey: Victoria

We are looking for a locum to help us out for selected weeks in July, August and September 2012 so that I can get married and have a honeymoon ! (Ill be shattered if I miss the honeymoon!).

The Romsey Veterinary Surgery is a well established and equipped 3-vet clinic that is now under new management. Our caseload typically comprises 80-90% small animal and 10-20% large animal (cattle, sheep, horses, alpaca) work, but during Winter the large animal work typically quietens down.

Our vets are supported by a terrific team of friendly veterinary nurses, and we are equipped with 2 surgical theatres, new anaesthetic machines, in-house bloods, IV fluid pumps, portable xray, ultrasound, endoscopy, VIN subscription, and the latest version of RxWorks.

Accommodation, generous pay, a friendly work environment, and rewarding experiences are provided. If you’ve got what it takes and you like our practice, permanent employment may be offered.

Some sole charge and afterhours would be required but our afterhours caseload is low (you’re more likely to not get a call than to get one). Some weekend work is required but you only work in the clinic from 9 till 12:30 but get paid till 5pm!
