Vet/VN Job No. 29386 DUBAI A fantastic opportunity exists for an experienced locum vet to join the team at this well-established, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care in Dubai. The clinic consists of a main hospital site plus a branch surgery and the facilities include a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house digital x-ray & doppler ultrasound capabilities, comprehensive surgical kit including spinal drill & full orthopaedic kit, iM3 dental machine + separate dental room, 2 surgical suites and a closely supervised hospitalization area, cattery and separate dog, cat and isolation wards. There is a 5 vet multi-national team drawing on skills from the UK, Australia and South Africa! The clinic is also well supported with a team of qualified nursing and health professionals and deals with a broad caseload of companion animals. This is a full time locum although there are no on-call duties as this is outsourced to a local specialist service ensuring quality leisure time to make the most of living in Dubai. In order to comply with visa conditions you must be qualified a minimum of 5 years and have good all-round small animal skills and the ability to work sole charge if needed. This is a great opportunity to experience veterinary life overseas with the guidance and support of a local team and there is scope for a more permanent role if the sunshine lifestyle proves to be too hard to leave! The process of securing the locum would also involve an initial visit (funded by the client) to organise veterinary registration.
