http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/skilled-workers/visa-permanent.htm
The Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) enables employers to sponsor highly skilled workers to fill skilled vacancies in their business. Skilled workers can be recruited either from overseas, or from people temporarily in Australia. Employers must be lawfully operating in Australia, and the position must provide full time employment in Australia for at least three years and meet the Minimum Salary Level.
This visa allows you to migrate to Australia if you have good English language skills and have skills and qualifications in an occupation in need in Australia. This visa also uses a points test to select visa applicants with characteristics needed in the Australian labour market. You must be sponsored by an eligible relative living in Australia, an Australian employer or obtain nomination from a participating State or Territory government agency.
Candidates must
- be under 45 years of age
- have the skills and qualifications that meet the Australian standard for an occupation on the Skilled Occupation List (SOL)
This visa follows the similar points test and fees, and also provides the same permanent resident benefits as per the Highly Skilled Migrant entry
